Peter graduated from Bath University in 2005 and joined the team in February 2006. Peter has been responsible for the development of fluvial and coastal models using ISIS, TUFLOW, ISIS-TUFLOW and MapInfo. He has been involved in the development and presentation of modules for training sessions using the above packages.
Based in Bristol, he now has over six years of experience working extensively with 1D, 2D and 3D models, for various different project types. In the last few years, Peter has become tone of the principal contributors to the TUFLOW user forums.
For the past two and a half years he has been involved in the development and presentation of modules for training sessions using the above packages to clients including the Environment Agency, Scott Wilson, Hyder, Arup BWB and Create Consulting
His experience includes:
1. Six years of ISIS (1D), TUFLOW (2D) and ISIS TUFLOW (1D-2D) modelling and has worked on more than 110 different models.
2. Hydraulic mathematical modelling of rivers, coastal situations and fluvial structures (utilising the above software packages).
3. Assessment of flood risk from overland flow routes and tidal breach scenarios using 1D, 2D and linked 1D-2D modelling packages.
4. Hydraulic analysis of river training structures.
5. Flood risk assessments in line with UK Flood Risk and Development Planning Policy and Guidance (PPS25) and Welsh TAN15 regulations.
6. Spatial data analysis and mapping using GIS (MapInfo/Vertical Mapper).
