Mark Davin BEng

Mark Davin is an Engineer with a degree is Civil and Coastal engineering from the University of Plymouth. Mark joined Edenvale Young from Royal Haskoning in 2009 further developing his skills for fluvial and coastal models.

Since joining Edenvale Young Mark has worked on a range of projects including the development of a TUFLOW tidal model of Lymington and a Project Appraisal Study of Tregynon using ISIS-TUFLOW. Before moving to Edenvale Young Mark focused primarily on Coastal Engineering and Modelling.

 

Previous projects included extensive use of MIKE21 software for studies based around coastal flood warning systems, wave-wave interaction, tidal modelling, hydrodynamic assessment and the effects of port reclamation. Particular interests include - Flood Risk Assessment - Design of coastal and river protection works - Shoreline Management - Coastal modelling - Tidal - Wave - Hydrodynamics.
