What we do....
Edenvale Young has a wide range of clients including the Environment Agency, English Heritage, Local Authorities, architects, consulting engineers and private developers. Our capability covers a wide range of work in the fluvial and coastal environment. In both sectors we are able to develop a project from its inception, through modelling to the completion of engineering / flood defence works. A large proportion of projects are flood-related and the Company is particularly well-known as a source of fluvial modelling expertise in ISIS and TUFLOW where we also offer formal training. In the coastal and maritime engineering sector we have undertaken projects in the UK, Caribbean and Middle East including large and small scale schemes for private and corporate clients.

Hydraulic Modelling
Modelling is at the core of our work and Edenvale Young invests in soft and hardware so that we can offer a capability in a complex suite of software tools. -
3D Modelling & Scour
Edenvale Young has been building on its existing capability in hydraulic modelling and geotechnical engineering through research with Bath University department of Civil and Architectural Engineerng. This has included the development of our expertise in 3D modelling. -

Research & Development
Edenvale Young supports a variety of research and development projects. For example, the validation of OpenFOAM for coastal and fluvial scenarios in collaboration with the University of Bath as part of a research programme into scour and breach development.
